The easiest way to stay in touch with the Department of Political Science is to join the Political Science Former Students' Advisory Board. The FSAB was formed in August 1998 by then department head Dr. Charles A. Johnson to facilitate communication and interaction among former students, current students, and faculty. For political science graduates, the FSAB provides a place where alumni can network with former graduates and participate in various activities that help build a strong alumni relationship with the department. Events such as Career Day, the Mentoring Program, and faculty lectures are just a few of the activities that the FSAB sponsors that promotes the strong relationship between former students, current students, and faculty. The FSAB helps the Department of Political Science provide opportunities to exceptional undergraduate students that would otherwise not be available and significantly enhance the education of our students. The FSAB is dedicated to promoting excellence and they would like you to be a part.
